Your hosts Steve and Charmaine welcome you to the peace and tranquility of the country side at Hildesheim Guest Lodge, nestled in the quaint little village of Hoekwil, it’s a mere 7km from the beaches of the Wilderness.
If you are looking to escape to the quiet countryside, you’ll feel right at home here. However, because of our secluded location, it is preferable that you come by car (as local rideshare and delivery services are limited in the area). We also pride ourselves on maintaining a calm, relaxing retreat—meaning our lodge is strictly quiet-time focused, with no parties or events permitted unless specifically arranged beforehand.

Check-in time is from 3pm until 6pm. Late check-in by arrangement. Arriving at Hildesheim: Because we are a small country retreat, our reception is not manned 24/7. We love welcoming our guests personally, so please coordinate your travel time with us ahead of your arrival so we can ensure someone is here to greet you.
Check-out time is 10am.

Smoking policy: Please note that Hildesheim Guest Lodge is a strictly smoke-free environment indoors. Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas only.”
Pet policy: To preserve the tranquility and protect local wildlife, pets are unfortunately not permitted.
Breakages & damages: Guests are held responsible for any loss or significant damage to lodge property during their stay, and we reserve the right to charge for repairs or professional cleaning if necessary.
